BSPS Area 1A covers Northumberland and County Durham and supports members through a programme of affiliated shows, training clinics and junior development activities.

The Area Committee works closely with the national British Show Pony Society to promote participation, education and high standards within the sport.

Throughout the season the Area hosts shows, training days and competitions designed to encourage riders of all ages and abilities.
